Produced through advanced EAF + LF + VD refining, with ESR available upon request, our hot work tool steel offers high cleanliness, uniform microstructure and reliable internal soundness. Large-size forged blocks, flat bars and round bars are available to support different tooling requirements. Production Route and Heat Treatment
Production route: EAF + LF + VD, with ESR available for higher cleanliness requirements. Delivery condition can include annealed, EFS annealed, quenched and tempered, or customized heat treatment based on customer specifications.
Size Range and Inspection
Available forms include forged or rolled flat bars, blocks and round bars. Surface condition can be black, machined, milled, ground, peeled or turned. Ultrasonic testing can be performed according to SEP 1921 Class 3 D/d or E/e, together with chemical analysis, hardness testing, mechanical testing and microstructure inspection.
