The inherent structural integrity of our 1.3343 tool steel guarantees impressive physical characteristics for heavy-duty operational demands. Upon proper heat treatment, the material consistently achieves a high hardness level reaching up to 64 to 66 HRC. This remarkable hardness profile translates directly into excellent wear resistance, effectively extending the functional lifespan of precision tooling components and minimizing the frequency of costly operational replacements.

One of the most critical performance metrics for tooling materials is the ability to withstand intense thermal stress during active operations. Our SKH-51 steel exhibits superior red hardness, maintaining a consistently sharp cutting edge even when exposed to high operating temperatures up to 600°C. This exceptional thermal stability ensures continuous cutting efficiency and protects the tool structure from premature thermal softening during aggressive machining tasks.
To accommodate highly diverse secondary manufacturing requirements, we supply this premium material in multiple surface conditions tailored to specific project needs. Clients can specify their preferred finish, ranging from basic annealed black surfaces to precision machined, turned, peeled, or milled bright conditions. This extensive variety of surface preparations significantly reduces the initial processing time required at your facility, accelerating your overall production timeline.
Due to its distinct versatility and high resistance to thermal softening, the material functions as the primary choice for manufacturing high-performance cutting tools. Industry professionals heavily rely on this specific grade to produce reliable twist drills, precision taps, industrial reamers, milling cutters, heavy-duty broaches, and robust metal saws. The material guarantees precise cutting accuracy and sustained operational durability across prolonged production cycles.
The material consistently demonstrates exceptional chipping resistance, making it an ideal candidate for engineering complex cold work tooling components. Industrial facilities frequently utilize this robust steel grade to engineer high-stress punches, advanced cold extrusion dies, and durable blanking tools. Its balanced mechanical properties ensure that the tooling components maintain their structural integrity even when subjected to intense repetitive compressive forces during continuous cold forming.
Beyond standard metalworking applications, this versatile steel grade provides excellent utility in specialized woodworking and advanced plastic molding operations. The material proves highly ideal for engineering high-speed planers and industrial knives requiring long-lasting sharp edges. Furthermore, engineers occasionally utilize it as a specialized high-wear mold steel for processing abrasive plastic resins or for fabricating highly durable ejector pins within complex injection molding systems.
Operating from an extensive 1.6 million square meter facility, our fully integrated production chain ensures superior material consistency and cost-effective supply solutions. We maintain advanced industrial equipment, including a 40-ton EBT, heavy-duty forging presses up to 5000 tons, full-series heat-treatment furnaces, and modern ESR furnaces. This comprehensive internal infrastructure allows us to closely monitor every single production phase, guaranteeing stable supply capabilities for global clients.
Maintaining uncompromising material quality remains the core focus of our entire industrial operation. We strictly execute a comprehensive four-step quality control procedure, covering pre-production planning, in-production testing, post-production verification, and rigorous pre-shipment inspections.
